About Rebel Armada

Hi, I'm Youri.

Rebel Armada began in Goa, India, with leftover leather, a few tools, and a fascination for handcrafted design that slowly expanded into every corner of my life.

I started by making bracelets and wallets while learning how leather reacts to movement, weather, dust, festivals, motorbikes, airports, and years of lived experience. Before long, I was traveling across India searching for recycled leather, old hardware, metal pieces, textures, and techniques—from the crowded streets of Delhi to workshops in Chennai and long periods hidden away in the Himalayas.

The first full collection launched at a major festival in Portugal in 2010.
From there, the journey unfolded across underground markets and festivals throughout Europe, North America, Brazil, Australia, Goa, and Bali.

Today, every Rebel Armada piece is designed in Bali, where I work closely with a small team of artisans to create handcrafted leather collections for travelers, riders, performers, and people drawn to fearless forms of self-expression.
